I am 29 years old and attended Shippensburg University, earning my Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.  I have earned Pennsylvania teaching certificates in the subjects of English, Communications, and Social Studies for grades 7 through 12.  I hold a variety of interests; some are subject related (such as reading and writing), however, I consider myself to be an artistic person as well and enjoy hobbies such as drawing, crocheting, and playing the piano.  In addition, I enjoy going to the movies, attending concerts with friends, and spending time with my two dogs.

My primary goal is to secure a full-time permanent teaching position.  Upon gaining full-time employment, I intend to eventually pursue my Master’s degree, most likely in Digital Media and Communications.
